Meeting Service Positions:

Meeting Chairperson: Opens and closes the meeting. Puts out chairs and brings meeting script. Chairperson conducts the meeting by reading from the meeting script.

Business Meeting Chairperson: Facilitates monthly business meeting by reading the business meeting script and making sure all voices are heard.

Intergroup Representative: Attends and participates at Intergroup and/or World Service Organization meeting each month and communicates information and activities announcements from the Intergroup and/or WSO to his/her home meeting.

Literature Chairperson: Orders literature from Intergroup or WSO. Makes additional copies of depleted table literature. Displays literature at meetings.

Treasurer: Collects and records 7th Tradition donations and pays meeting’s expenses. Provides a 7th tradition report monthly. Reimburses members who present receipts for refreshments, literature, copies, recovery chips, etc. And sends group funds to WSO and Intergroup.

Secretary: Updates meeting information with it’s intergroup and WSO for changes in meeting location and times, secretary or treasury, or addresses and phone numbers. Reads monthly minutes and takes notes at business meeting.
